🌿 6. Women Empowerment – “From Beads to Businesswoman”

Businesswoman”
Fatou was 22, living in a rural village in Senegal, with three children and no income. Her husband had disappeared months ago, and she was left with no savings, no education, and no choices.

A women’s charity offered her a £50 microloan and free training to learn how to make and sell handmade jewelry. She started with ten bracelets and a table at the local market.

Today, she has a small shop, employs three other women, and sends all her children to school.

“No one saw me before,” she says. “Now, they call me boss lady.”

→ £50 can start a micro-business and change a family’s future.
